What can I say about this team, this is the third time I’ve used them and it’s always been excellent service, attention to detail, and doing what is right for their customers and candidates alike.

Sometimes there might be multiple roles available, the consultancy and more importantly, personal touch, makes these decisions far less daunting than you might think.

During the ‘great resignation’ in early 2022, it was difficult to see the wood for the trees. Multiple approaches from a variety of recruiters and in-house HR teams is always an ego boost, but I felt a little like Goldilocks, where only a small percentage of the roles looked like they’d offer some satisfaction.

I have known Peter for a number of years and he has always maintained contact, without being an intrusive and unsettling presence. The call we had a few months ago was a great exercise in how recruitment refresher calls should go. Peter was more interested in getting an up to date view of both what I wanted and needed in a role, trying to capture the kind of engagement & delivery that makes you feel like you’ve had a great week at work.

From our conversation, Peter had a client in mind that matched my approach and style and thought we should meet to discuss how we could work together. From the outset it was clear that this was a great match and the interview process felt more like an exchange of ideas and a forward thinking discussion than your usual series of stuffy chats.

I have recently had the pleasure of working with Gill and Jamie from Brighter People. Gill was really helpful in tweaking my CV in order to appeal to more employers.
